The actions and activities of Casals de Joves de Catalunya take place in the following defined working fields:
- SOCIAL ACTION: coordination of social vindications, such as awareness campaigns, demonstrations, reflection exercises or promotion of a critical thinking. This is the space for those casaleros or casaleres who have restless minds.
- INTERNATIONAL: CJC offers a pool of contacts and support to organize international activities, promotes and coordinates the participation of the youngsters from the youth clubs in seminars and exchanges.
- PEDAGOGY: it drives and manages the training offered to young leaders. It organizes courses and workshops about youth participation and animation, such as participation and debate days, a training course for youth leaders or monographic courses.
- CULTURAL PROJECTS: coordination of cultural actions and activities organized in all youth clubs.
- HEALTH: promotion of health in Youth Clubs. It offers resources, material and assessment to youth clubs to work on this topic. Our main working lines are sexuality and drugs.
- SECONDARY SCHOOL: promotion of the participation in Secondary Schools. Its aim is to promote a culture of participation among students in different aspects of their life.
- NEW TECHNOLOGIES: animation, training and promotion of the use of Information and Communication Technologies. The e-TIC's project aims to democratize ICT, making them accessible to everybody, offering adequate trainings and promoting an ethical, critical and responsible use.
